Melissa is an American living in North West England with her British husband and children (and dual-citizen pet). She covers education, family, and current events in the UK and US.
After earning a BA in Political Science and MBA from the University of Florida, she went on to earn a Master of International Management from Thunderbird at Arizona State University.
She works in education: creating programs, working with students in classrooms, and campaigning for their improved opportunities. Melissa also has a long career in marketing and project management for multinational and “mom and pop” companies in a wide variety of industries: finance, construction, healthcare, real estate, and fine art.
